【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsfornon-pressurepolyolefinpipeandfittingsforcorrosivewastedrainagesystems.1.2ThisspecificationisacompaniontotheCanadianStandard,CAN/CSA-B181.3.1.3PipeisproducedinSchedule40and80IPSsizesintwopolyolefins,polyethylene(PE)andpolypropylene(PP).1.4Theinterchangeabilityofpipeandfittingsmadebydifferentmanufacturersisnotaddressedinthisspecification.Transitionfittingsforjoiningpipeandfittingsofdifferentmanufacturersisprovidedforinthisspecification.1.5Pipeandfittingsarejoinedbytheheatfusionmethod(D2657andF1290)orbyusingmechanicaljointsrecommendedbythemanufacturer.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesaregivenforinformationonly.1.7Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethod,Section8,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
